Maple Mojito

Ingredients
- 8-10 mint leaves
- 2 oz white rum
- 1 oz lime juice
- 0,5 oz maple syrup (preferably dark syrup for its robust flavour)
- 2 oz sparkling maple water
- Sprit of mint to ganish
Method
- Put mint leaves into a highball glass.
- Use a spoon to gently muddle, releasing the mint’s essential oils and distributing them around the glass.
- Add the rum, lime juice, and maple syrup to a shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Strain the shaker contents into the glass.
- Add the sparkling maple water and stir gently.
- Garnish with a generous sprig of mint.
