Recipe — All-Purpose Maple Dough

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup (preferably golden syrup for its delicate flavour)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Beat eggs, maple syrup and butter in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Work in the egg mixture.
  4. Use this dough to make the following recipes:

  7. Maple Petits Fours
