All-Purpose Maple Dough

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (preferably golden syrup for its delicate flavour)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Method
- Beat eggs, maple syrup and butter in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Work in the egg mixture.
- Use this dough to make the following recipes:
- Maple Almond Biscotti
- Baked Maple Doughnuts
- Maple Petits Fours
