Maple Espresso Tonic
Non-Alcoholic beverage / Recipes with Maple Syrup

Ingredients
- 1/2 oz maple syrup (preferably golden syrup for its delicate flavour)
- 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 double espresso (45 ml [1 1/2 oz])
- 3 1/2 oz tonic water
- 1 grapefruit zest (to decorate)
Method
- Pour the liquid ingredients (except the tonic water) into a 350 ml (12 oz) highball glass.
- Fill with ice cubes and stir with a spoon until the glass is freezing to your fingers.
- Pour in the tonic water.
- Decorate with the grapefruit zest.
