Maple Goat Cheese Crostini

Ingredients
- 12 round slices of a baguette
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 package of about 250 g of fresh goat cheese
- 2 tbsp maple sugar
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 3/4 cup grilled walnuts
- 3/4 cup arugula leaves
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F), and grill the slices of baguette for about 15 minutes.
- Baste the toasts (crostini) with olive oil, and rub them with the garlic clove.
- Spread each crostini with fresh goat cheese, sprinkle with maple sugar, and add a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
- Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with grilled walnuts and arugula leaves.
