Ingredients

  • 8 carottes avec fanes, coupées en deux selon leur grosseur.
  • Handful of fresh sage leaves
  • Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple sugar
  • Salt (coarse salt like Fleur de Sel)

Method

  1. Brush the carrots with olive oil using a pastry brush. Place them in a baking dish and roast in the oven for about 20 minutes at 200 °C (400 °F).
  2. When carrots are about 80% done, sprinkle maple sugar and sage and roast for another 6-7 minutes.
  3. Finish with a sprinkle of salt.
