Maple-Ginger Hot Milk

Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 oz fresh ginger, grated (for its juice)
- 4 to 6 tablespoons maple syrup (preferably amber syrup for its rich flavour)
Method
- In a saucepan, heat the milk over low heat. Remove from heat, then add the ginger juice and maple syrup. Stir and serve.
Microwave version:
Heat the milk in a microwave-safe container, then add the ginger juice and maple syrup. Stir and serve.
