Recipe — Sports Drink with Cranberry, Maple and Star Anise

  • 3 cups cranberry juice (100% juice)
  • 5 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (preferably dark syrup for its robust taste)
  • 1 star anise


  1. Mix together all the ingredients.
  2. Leave to infuse for one hour.
  3. Refrigerate.
